patch. If so, please accept my apologies. I have reorganized the
original announcement, and am trying to get the word out to

FIRST CALL FOR 1996 PEACE CORPS VOLUNTEERS
*****************************************************************
Greetings from the Peace Corps. I am the Manager of the Peace
Corps Recruiting Office in San Francisco. I would like to take
this opportunity to spread the word about Peace Corps Volunteer
assignments to members of this list who would like to be Volun-
teers, or who could serve as references to others who might be
interested.

We now have requests for 1800 Volunteers for assignments which start in April, May and June, 1996. Since these assignment dates are a bit too early for June 1996 college graduates, we are now seeking to contact individuals who will graduate in June or December 1995, and who may still be available for early/mid-1996 assignment with the Peace Corps. We are also actively seeking volunteers who may have graduated some time ago.

If you are one of the above (or if you know someone who is), I want to inform you that we have an interesting, valuable assign- ment for you in one of 94 countries around the world - China, former Soviet Union, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, Africa, and the Pacific region.

The 1800 assignments cluster in 7 broad areas: Education - 750 Business - 350 Environment/Forestry - 150 Food Production - 150 Health - 150 Community Service - 130 Urban Plng/Const/Eng/Skilled Trades 120

All details are available from your local recruiting office by calling 1-800-424-8580, then press 1 at the prompt. If you want to talk with me about Peace Corps opportunities, I would be pleased to do so.

Thanks in advance for your interest and consideration. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions.
