USAID West Coast Sponsors Procurement Seminars in Bay Area, Northwest

The West Coast Outreach Program is sponsoring seminars for trade development professionals in three West Coast Cities. Taking place in the third week of July, they will feature presentations by two of the USAID's senior agency executives who are knowledgeable about USAID's procurement process. Attendees will receive a thorough grounding in how USAID develops projects and how USAID chooses the products and services it decides to purchase. The trade development professionals who attend these conferences will be able to advise their clients on how and when to market their goods and services to USAID. Presenters include Gary Kinney, USAID's Procurement Ombudsman, Kevin Armstrong, USAID's West Coast Outreach Director, and Michael Segal, Business Consultant, WCO Portland. There will be $20 fee for the half-day conference.
