Tom Hodges provides some good pointers for those seeking to
signoff. If, ultimately, you need to contact the list manager,
to request that your address be manually deleted, you can
do the following to find the name/e-address of the list manager:
1. Address e-mail to: mailto:listserv@listserv.american.edu
2. Leave SUBJECT blank
3. In MESSAGE: INFO DEVEL-L
4. Then SEND the message
The listserver will respond with more information than you care
to know about the list. But the contact coordinates for the
list manager ("owner") will be included in the information.
