The Least of These
Program Highlights
HCJB--The Voice of the Andes
July 21, 1997

We plan on covering a wide range of subjects on this week's program. Allen Graham will tell us about poverty levels in the United States. Brent Allred will have a report on the work of World Vision in the Sudan helping that country feed itself. We will talk with Paul Hamalian of Habitat for Humanity, and Paul Bell will update us on the Asian nation of Nepal. The Least of These is a weekly radio program produced by HCJB, The Voice of the Andes in Quito, Ecuador, South America. The title of the program comes from the biblical reference in Matthew 25:40 where Jesus Christ said, "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to me. Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

The Least of These is broadcast on HCJB, The Voice of the Andes on the following Schedule:

To The South Pacific: 10:00 UTC on 9645 kHz To Europe: 20:00 UTC on 12015 kHz (may also be heard in Africa and Middle East) To The Americas: 2 and 5:00 (UTC Tuesday), (10 p.m. Monday and 1 a.m. Tuesday Eastern Daylight Time) 9745 kHz
