A "DSM-finance" model case study: Internet Ventures, Inc. and the Direct Stock Market, which two years ago worked together to make IVI the first company to publicly offer a private placement via the Web, renewed their association in conjunction with IVI's upcoming Direct Public Offering. The announcement was made by Don Janke, president of Internet Ventures, Inc. (IVI) and Clay Womack, president and chief executive officer of the Direct Stock Market. IVI, a provider of high-speed Internet service, announced earlier this month that it had filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a Regulation "A" offering for an aggregate of $5 million of its common stock solely for the company's account. IVI will offer the shares directly on its own World Wide Web Site (www.perki.net), as well as on the Direct Stock Market site (www.dsm.com). IVI previously used the Direct Stock Market to generate private funding for its ventures under California's landmark regulation 25102(n).
