Starting on Wednesday 21st April 1999, the Queensland Cleaner Production Taskforce Association (QCPTA) will host the Second Asia Pacific Cleaner Production Roundtable and Trade Expo.

This Second Roundtable is a gathering of industry, business people, policy-makers, consultants, researchers, educators, and regulators.
We will share technical knowledge and innovative ideas about Cleaner Production, regulations, organisational change and environmentally efficient technologies.

Second Roundtable Program and Trade Expo Delivery
The Second Roundtable, held in conjunction with the Trade Expo, has an intense three-day program consisting of keynote addresses, supported by themed parallel sessions for accepted papers and workshop forums for active participation. Internationally distinguished practitioners of Cleaner Production (CP) will chair and lead the discussions and promote debate.

Cleaner Production in our region has now come of age and we are starting to build on the success of the 1st Asia-Pacific Cleaner Production Roundtable held in Bangkok last year. We need CP to take us through to the next millennium. The Second Roundtable will continue the momentum, bringing together a unique range of expertise from around the globe to stimulate debate and promote the CP cause.
Held in Australia's premier conference venue, this meeting will be the most important CP event in the Asia-Pacific region in "99. We invite you to participate and put forward proposals for presentation and discussion.
Endorsed by key international agencies promoting CP, and sponsors coming from industry, government and commercial enterprises, the Second Roundtable will be an interactive platform from which to learn from each other's successes and failures. We need to demonstrate and communicate how to make effective and realistic CP programs work through an open sharing of expertise and experiences.
