How to get rid of skunks, snakes, roaches, and other vermin!

99.9% of the teachers and administrators in the University of Texas System are great. They work hard and are sensitive to the needs of their students. It's the other .1% that concerns me. They can get away with almost anything and they can't be sued.

Isn't that amazing! If a Rice University teacher screws-up and causes a student damage, then that teacher and the University can both be sued. The same is true for a Baylor, or TCU, or SMU teacher. If a teacher is negligent and mistreats a student, then both the teacher and the University can be sued. In other words, you can sue an employee of a private university and the university. BUT YOU CAN'T SUE A UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS TEACHER OR THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS BECAUSE OF SOVEREIGN IMMUNITY. That's not fair. That's not American. And that's not Constitutional!

The intended purpose of the Doctrine of Sovereign Immunity was to prevent the government from being so bogged down in legal hassles that it could not perform the normal functions of protecting its citizens. Sovereign Immunity was never intended to give the government an unfair competitive advantage in the sale of a consumer product (EDUCATION). The Doctrine of Sovereign Immunity says that I cannot sue a State of Texas University or its teacher(s), even if the teacher(s) might be skunks, snakes, roaches, or other vermin, without first getting the State of Texas' approval. That means that I can't defend myself against a rapist, without getting the rapist approval first.

I am not an attorney, however, I have represented myself twice (attorneys don't want to do battle against the State of Texas for anything less than $250/per hour) in the 141st Tarrant County District Court (two different judges) and I have won both times. Now the Attorney General's Office and the State of Texas have appealed the judges' decisions to the Second Court of Appeals. What they don't know is that I plan to eventually take this case to the Supreme Court of Texas and get the Doctrine of Sovereign Immunity repealed as a shield of defense for skunks, snakes, roaches, and other vermin.
