The International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) has extended their recruitment of recent college and university graduates for the YCLSF program for 1999-2000. Please submit applications ASAP as placements will begin in August and September of 1999.

Environnement et développement du tiers-monde (ENDA-TM) in Senegal requires a French speaking person, with a knowledge of Climate Change issues.
Trade and Policy (TIPS) in South Africa requires a person with an economics background.
Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) in Pakistan requires a writer with a background in trade issues.
The Regional Environmental Centre for Central and Eastern Europe (REC) in Hungary requires a writer with an environmental background.
The Ministry of Environment in Ecuador requires a Spanish speaking person with knowledge of Website design and environmental issues.
World Bank Inspection Panel in Washington requires a Website Designer.
South Pacific Applied Geoscience Commission (SOPAC) in Fiji Islands requires a database developer/programmer with a strong background in Internet communications.
United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) in France requires a French speaking person with experience in Website design and management.
Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) in Sweden requires a person originally from or living in the Territories or far Northern regions of Canada with experience in website design.
International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) in Winnipeg requires a person originally from or living in Manitoba with strong research, writing and organizational skills and a good understanding of youth issues.
World Conservation Union (IUCN) in Geneva requires a graduate of a social science discipline with knowledge of issues pertaining to Social Policy and the Environment.
The Great Plains Institute in North Dakota requires a person originally from or living in Manitoba with a degree in Natural Resource Management and experience designing Websites.

The complete program includes a two-week training session at IISD, a six-month placement overseas and concludes with a one-week career enhancement session at IISD.
