PlaNet Finance -http://www.planetfinance.org- invites you to join an electronic discussion on the new approaches to impact and targeting measurement tools and to management of knowledge extracted. The discussion will begin on July 8, 1999 and will last till the end of August.
The Planet Finance Impact Knowledge Management (IKM) program framework will be a starting point for the discussion. The IKM is a complete program created to assess an impact of Micro-finance Institution (MFI) on its clients and to evaluate MFI client targeting practices. What is more, on the basis of knowledge obtained, the IKM aims to teach MFI how to act more effectively in terms of improving its impact and targeting practices. At the moment the IKM program is in a planning and design stage.
The IKM virtual meeting objective is to bring together experts and practitioners to share opinions about the new approaches to the impact and targeting measurement tools and to the management of knowledge acquired. The IKM program framework will be a basis for further discussion concerning the improvement of that kind of programs.
All the participants of the meeting will be provided with the IKM program framework prepared by PlaNet Finance team.
