Thanks to Bob Pyke for forwarding this, but - looking at the date it appears to have been sent to him - I can't believe anyone is seriously giving colleagues three days notice of such an important piece of work.OK if someone meant to let people know weeks ago and forgot, say so and say sorry - we've all been there - but please don't pretend this is an exercise in giving anyone on this or the infodev list an opportunity to participate.
Good practice surely means disseminating opportunity widely and giving people time to think, consult and plan not to chase research funds like Pavlov's dogs.
