Well, my thesis is finally finished. The title of it is the topic you see,
and it is pretty much self explanatory.

I start out with a basic explanation of what the internet is and then move into how one might go about getting connected. Then I focus on several main areas including AIDS research and education, population research and control, social change, and general information searching and retreival. In each area I point to a variety of resources online and how to connect to them.

The thesis is avabile online at the following web page:

http://plato.phy.ohiou.edu/~cipiti/development.html

Included here is an abstract, the full thesis in Ami Pro 2.0 format, and the full body in English ASCII. Soon, Spanish ASCII will be available too. The Spanish version will also be published this year (1995) and hopefully the English version as well. Also is a page of all of the links and resources that I discuss in the paper so you do not have to type in all of the addresses.

I hope this proves useful to many people; I have enjoyed doing it.
