I am going to be in Benin on a Fulbright Lectureship next year. At this time, Benin is one of the last countries in the region to have no internet connection at all. Apparently there are some startup projects going on there now. Does anyone know what is going on? Does anyone have experience getting access started in similar situations? I have already contacted people at VITA and they are going to respond. Any direct or parallel information would be appreciated.
