2nd International Congress on UTILIZATION OF TROPICAL PLANTS & CONSERVATION OF BIODIVERSITY Douala, Cameroon. 23 -27 October 1995
The conference will focus on development of strategies for sustainable utilization of tropical plants as economic resources and the development of practical conservation systems that benefit local communities inhabiting tropical forests around the world.
There also will be panel discussions exploring the following topics:
a) Medicinal & Aromatic Plants - New Applications, Marketing & Commercialisation. b) Sustainable Exploitation of Industrial Crops c) Extractive Reserves & Biodiversity Conservation d) Community PArticipation in Biodiversity Prospecting projects e) Indigenous Agroforestry Strategies f) Intellectual Property Law & the Rights of Indigenous People
