DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL ANTHROPOLOGY, UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGHLECTURER-CONSULTANT(S) IN DEVELOPMENT ANTHROPOLOGY
The department of Social Anthropology invites applications for one or more posts in an established consultancy team giving social development advice to DFID. The appointee(s) will also contribute to the Department's teaching, research and administration. Applicants should have a Ph.D in social anthropology, or equivalent relevant professional and/or research experience. They will have special interests and expertise in development and, preferably, experience of the NGO sector.
The appointment(s) will be for up to three years from 1 October 1997.
Salary on scale : £16,045 - £21,016 per annum.
