Towards Sustainable Product Design #3 Conference

26-28th October 1998 London, UK

The Centre for Sustainable Design (www.cfsd.org.uk) will be organising 'Towards Sustainable Product Design #3' conference in London, UK on 26-28th October 1998. Speakers will include key thinkers and practioners drawn worldwide from business and acdemia including Dr Brad Allenby, EHS Vice President from AT&T (US) and Professor Han Brezet from Delft University (Netherlands). Day 1 will focus on the next level of sustainability issues such as 'Factor 10' solutions, dematerialisation and social issues in product development. Day 2 will focus on how companies manage the incorporation of eco-efficiency into product development and design, with examples from organisations inclusing Interface, Sony and Nortel. Day 3 will focus on the research themes that develop from both days.
