TRANSITIONS AND TRANSCENDENCE II:
MUTUAL PERSPECTIVES OF EAST AND WEST
Second Annual International Women's Conference
May 12-14, 1995
The American University in Bulgaria [AUBG] invites scholars and
other interested parties to examine women's issues in the context
of the transitions occurring in Eastern Europe and toward an
understanding of East European and Western perspectives.
Papers, panels, workshops and presentations on varied topics are
invited from students, community workers and scholars are invit-
ed. Interdisciplinary papers are welcome as well as papers from
fields in the humanities, social sciences, creative arts, health,
law and medicine.
Paper abstracts or session proposals of one-two pages can be sent
to the address below. Deadline for English language abstracts is
March 30, 1995. Deadline for receipt of papers is April 15,
1995.
