I am writing a final paper for my MPA degree (Int'l Dev), comparing the effectiveness of large development organizations (USAID, CIDA, UNDP, ODA, etc.) with that of NGOs/PVOs. I am at a point where I need some case studies of development projects. Can anyone help me with some specific case studies or with references to where I may find some?Personal examples would be more than welcome, as would any thoughts on the subject. I'm looking for examples of large and small projects, done by large and small organizations, public and private, successful and unsuccessful. After many hours in the library, I have found stacks of articles and books discussing every aspect of development, but have had much less success with just finding simple case studies.
