Hello friends!
In this way I want to ask you for information for my final thesis research in Senegal. I am a student of the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands. I study Development-studies and my specializations are Sub-Sahara Africa, rural develop ment, sustainable energy, development co-operation and techno logy transfer. For my final thesis I want to go to Senegal. I'm looking for projects which are occupied in the field of wind-energy. I want to examine the manner of implementing the various forms of low-level technologies in the societies. I'm interested in this, because it happens far often that projects fail and I heard that in Sengal this is the case. I want to know in how far it is a result of misinterpreted social and cultural values. My plan is to evaluate various wind-energy projects. The ultimate goal is to give recommendations for 'the perfect wind-energy project'. So if you know projects or addresses of organisations or persons or pointers to these subjects I kindly ask you to give me this information.
