ELDIS PROJECT NEWS
* The outline of possible Eldis Phase 2 activities has been updated again, focusing on our upcoming purchase of new hardware and software for the WWW site. This includes a major decision on a new database package for access to Eldis, the BLDS catalogue and other datasets. We would be grateful for any feedback on this. The paper is available at: http://www.ids.ac.uk/eldis/ideas.html
* The new IDS programme to disseminate ODA-sponsored research results is taking shape, and we hope that Eldis will contribute to this
* Search interface to ELDIS: the truncation and string-searching options are now working
* Corrections: following an email-shot to information providers listed in Eldis, we have updated a large number of records. Many thanks to everyone who sent corrections (we are still working through the returns!)
