THE LEAST OF THESE
Program Highlights
HCJB--The Voice of the Andes
March 23, 1998

This week's program will be devoted to a conversation with Ferdinand Mahfood, the founder and director of Food for the Poor. But this isn't just any ordinary conversation, for Mr. Mahfood is not just any ordinary person. Coming from a business background in his native Jamaica, our guest discovered hurting people at the same time he was coming to sense God's presence in his life and that God's love was calling him to respond with his talents and resources. Join us as we hear about Mr. Mahfood's spiritual pilgrimage, and how Food for the Poor is helping the needy, especially in the Caribbean and Latin America. The Least of These is a weekly radio program produced by HCJB, The Voice of the Andes in Quito, Ecuador, South America. The title of the program comes from the biblical reference in Matthew 25:40 where Jesus Christ said, "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to me. Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

The Least of These is broadcast on HCJB, The Voice of the Andes on the following Schedule:
