THE LEAST OF THESE Program Highlights HCJB--The Voice of the Andes March 30, 1998On this week's program we will visit the Miami Rescue Mission and talk with Ron Brummitt, Director of the Men's Center about the mission's work among the homeless of South Florida. We'll hear from the United Nations that preventable malnutrition contributes to half of all child deaths in the world, and Paul Bell will take us on a trip to the Philippines where we will learn about physical and spiritual needs there. The Least of These is a weekly radio program produced by HCJB, The Voice of the Andes in Quito, Ecuador, South America. The title of the program comes from the biblical reference in Matthew 25:40 where Jesus Christ said, "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to me. Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
