Before going further let me introduce my self. I am Rajib Subba and working as an engineer with the Nepali govt. I am also involved with CYBER POST <www.south-asia.com/cyberpost> as coordinator. Cyber Post is a fortnightly IT feature page of The Kathmandu Post. CP is the first IT publication on the Net from Nepal.
Right now I am in the process of preparing a country paper to be presented in Dhaka in April for a Internet seminar.
I need some help for my paper. Will it be possible for you to help locate info of my topic as defined below?
Content a) Culture -- national perception of threats and opportunities b) Direction of flow of information (e.g. North--South, within the region) c) Extent of local-language content, and cross-border flows d) Availability of content providers, web site designers, and related manpower issues e) The extent of use of e-commerce, f) Applications in health g) Use of the Internet in distance education, and as an educational tool h) Content regulation, relevant laws and policy, with an emphasis on recent developments, role of government, ISPs, regional and international bodies, users, regulatory authorities and measures to promote c)-g) above, i) Changes over time in the above, prognosis for the future, and suggestions for improvement
