Assistant Action Officer Washington, D.C . The Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) of the U.S. Agency for International Development seeks an Assistant Action Officer who will be member of a Washington, D.C. based team managing BHR/OFDA's response for countries assigned. REQUIRES: Bachelor's degree or graduate level course work in international relations, program implementation or related subjects. QUALITY RANKING FACTORS: 1) Evidence of strong writing and/or reporting and inter-personal skills; 2) ability to work as a team member and work with accuracy and timeliness under rapidly changing priorities; 3) computer and organizational skills; and 4) demonstrated experience on humanitarian type activities and/or international experience preferably in lesser developed countries; and . U.S. citizenship required. Salary GS-7 equivalent with potential to GS-9; closing date: May 12, 1995. One year personal services contract.
