We currently have three newly-created positions available in the Washington, DC / Rosslyn, VA area. The successful applicants will provide support to a Humanitarian Assistance Organization in the areas of E-mail, MS Windows, Word Perfect, Internet, WWW, Lotus 123 and Notes, and other fast-moving technologies. They will serve as the first line of response for trouble- shooting and problem resolution for personnel in both DC offices and countries in crisis. Personal flexibility and capacity for third world travel essential, as is critical thinking and the ability to learn and act on your feet. Experience in installation and troubleshooting of PC's and peripherals, and a working knowledge of Networking concepts and application programs, are required. You will also be asked to assist the program development team in creating solutions to recurrent operational problems. Professional experience in programming, training, and/or Banyan VINES a plus.
Graduation from an accredited technical school, 2-year college- level program, military experience, or any combination of the above, is required. Two or more years professional experience required. US citizenship required. Shirt and shoes required. You must be eligible for a government clearance; existing clearance a definite plus.
