The news out of North Korea is not good as mass starvation is already
underway. Ralph Kurtenbach will bring us the story. Then, we will turn
our focus to Nicaragua, the poorest country in the western hemisphere.
Paul Bell will give us an overview of the country, and then we will be
talking with Joan Wilson Carter, founder and president of The Sowers as
we learn about a small organization which is making an impact in
Nicaragua.
The Least of These is a weekly radio program produced by HCJB, The
Voice of the Andes in Quito, Ecuador, South America. The title of the
program comes from the biblical reference in Matthew 25:40 where Jesus
Christ said,
"I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you
gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I
needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me,
I was in prison and you came to me. Whatever you did for one of the
least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
