It is published by the Asia Pacific Social Development Research Centre, an independent research centre located within City University of Hong Kong.
Bi-monthly issues include news reports, sectoral analyses, regional surveys, profiles of funding institutions and Chinese organisations, detailed descriptions of noteworthy projects, summaries of donor activity and digests of projects in particular sectors.
Areas of focus have so far been: Education (Issue 1); Environment (Issue 2); Rural Credit (Issue 3); Disability (Issue 4) and Health (Issue 5). These These have been the subject of sectoral analysis with digests of externally funded projects.
