I don't know if we are saying the same thing, but only differently.
First, I agree that the depletion can potentially create a catastrophe
within the human population. But there is a process and a path during
this depeletion. The question then has to be asked as to whose "Ox will
be gored". And as long as the coin of the relm is decoupled from hard
goods, then the "ones and zeros in the banker's microchips" will
prevail.
