dear listers

Writing an article to Danish biggest newspaper (Politiken) about the need for empowerments of the poor countries access to the Net, there possibilities with using the net in trade, education, social and cultural work (NGO's) etc. I'm also looking for some general statistic information on the perspectives of the Internet: What would happen to the Net, if the same scale of population in the South as in the North was on-line? What would the prise be, to make the same level of access to the net in the South as in the North? How many in the South has to day the physical and the economic possibility to access the Net and how many doesn't? If you now about such figures, or figures close to these questions, I would be more than happy, for any help!

Best wishes
