InterAction still has several free registrations available for the two-day workshop, Space Technologies for Disaster Mitigation and Global Health to be held at the Marvin Center, George Washington University, Washington, DC on June 2-3. The offer is available only to employees of InterAction member agencies and will only cover the cost of early registration ($350).

Sponsored by the Institute to Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the workshop will include presentations by some of the leading experts in space technology as well as a number of demonstrations by commercial companies. Workshop participants will examine a number of new technologies not currently available to disaster relief a d global health workers.
