THE LEAST OF THESE
Program Highlights
HCJB--The Voice of the Andes
May 9 and 11, 1998

This week on The Least of These, we will hear a round-up of development news from around the world. Then, host Ken MacHarg talks with Craig Dyer about Bright Hope International, a relatively new organization which meets needs but is also taking on the cause of those who suffer from injustice. Next, Shelly Sutton interviews Joanne Chetoa, UNICEF's senior nutrition advisor who calls malnutrition a "silent emergency." The Least of These is a weekly radio program produced by HCJB, The Voice of the Andes in Quito, Ecuador, South America. The title of the program comes from the biblical reference in Matthew 25:40 where Jesus Christ said, "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to me. Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
