Dear listers
On behalf of my college at PANOS Institute London, Juliet Heller I'm
forwarding the question below:
I am working on a Global Express edition
(an information pack for teachers in the UK about world events in
the
news) for the World Cup about football as a tool for conflict
resolution
and as way of dealing with racism xenophobia - there are some
development
agencies such as Novib in the Netherlands and ActionAid in the UK
who are
using football and other sports in development projects. There is
also a
project in Medellin, Colombia called "Soccer for
Peace".
Do you know any sources of information on this subject which I could
follow-up eg websites, organisations?? I need information as soon as
possible to work on the text next week.
