I represent the Enterprise Development Group at Maxwell Stamp. I am seeking to expand our contacts with North and Latin American-based consultants who provide services in the field of small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) development.The Maxwell Stamp Group has been delivering independent business and economics consultancy and advisory support for over 40 years, having completed assignments in over 120 counties. We have offices in London, Washington, DC and Bishkek and operate a network of ‘satellite’ offices and ‘representations’ across the former Soviet Union, Central/Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and the Middle East. Our primary clients are the multi-lateral donor agencies (EU, World Bank, UNDP, ADB, AfDB, IDB) as well as bilateral donors (UK DfID, USAID).
The Enterprise Development Group (EDG) provides enterprise development consulting services with particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). We have structured our services into a portfolio of seven core areas of technical expertise:
- Enabling Environment for Enterprise - Institutional Support & Strengthening - Finance & Financial Innovation - Technology & Innovation Support - Business & Corporate Services - Enterprise Restructuring - Export & Investment Promotion
Through our project work, we work with donor agencies, national and regional governments, and meso-level SME-support institutions.
I have recently moved to Washington to representative EDG in the DC office. In this role, I am seeking to expand our pool of consultant resources. Within EDG, we have established a core group of freelance experts with whom we work closely. Maintaining close communication with the members of this pool is a critical component of our success in providing our clients with the highest quality support possible.
I am interested in expanding this resource base. I am looking for consultants who have at least 5-10 years previous consulting experience relating to SME support and who are interested in exploring potential long/short-term consulting opportunities with EDG.
