The Africa Media Review is inviting papers for publication
in its special issue on=20
the Information Superhighway:Implications for Africa.
Papers  can address various aspects of information  and
communication technologies such as electronic networking,
computers,  fiber optics, cable, satellite communication,
information databases, radio, television,
telecommunications, policy issues and government
regulations of information and communication technologies,
training, research, the role of government and private
sector in  the development of telecommunications,
information and communication technologies. The
relationship between telecommunication growth and  socio-
economic development.

Selected papers will be published in the June, 1996, issue
of the Africa Media Review.
Papers must
=FA    Use APA style references, no footnotes
=FA    Providefinal  abstracts in French; and short bio of contributo=
rs
=FA    Be about  20 pages.
=FA    May also be submitted  on disk  IBM or Macintosh word
processing software
=FA    Be received by March 1, 1996




Send abstracts  ( about 100 words) in English no later than
January 15, 1996 to:
