---The University of Calgary Division of International Development sponsors an International Participatory Development Symposium - February 6-8 1996.
Individuals interested in the role of the University in participatory development will be gathering at The University of Calgary February 6 - 8, 1996 for "ïDialogue on Partnership"À - the 1996 International Participatory Development Symposium. ïDialogue on PartnershipÀ is sponsored by The University of Calgary Centre of Excellence in Participatory Development, with the primary objective of providing a forum whereby University of Calgary development projects and project partners can describe and analyze their experiences with practices of participatory development. The dissemination of this valuable knowledge and experience related to participatory development will be very important in planning future development initiatives.
The Symposium will be held at MacEwan Student Centre on The University of Calgary campus, and will feature representatives from current and former U of C development projects, who will present on various areas related to participatory development, including administration and project management, education and training, research, institutional strengthening and human resource development, and gender and development. Project representatives will include some overseas Project partners.
Registration for Dialogue on Partnership is open to anyone who is interested.
