TOOL Information Services (TIS) of the TOOL Foundation is urgently looking for a short term consultant with experience in SME and information management.CONSULTANCY ASSIGNMENT MEDIUM/SMALL ENTERPRISE ASSESSMENT OF INFORMATION DEMAND.
TASKS:
1. Consultant will develop an instrument to assist Information Service Centers to make an inventory of information needs of medium/small enterprises. A methodology has been developed and needs to be worked out;
2. The instrument will be field tested in Kenya at K-REP, TOOL's counterpart organisation.
3. Revisions will be made based on field testing experiences.
TIME FRAME:
The consultancy will take approximately 6 weeks and is to take place in Mid November-December:
1. Briefing in Amsterdam 2 days 2. Development/fieldtesting Kenya 5 weeks 3. De-briefing Amsterdam 2 days
