***************************************************************** Opportunity for Academic Cooperation - Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan ***************************************************************** Dr. Misir Ashyrkulov - Rector of Bishkek International School of Business and Management (BISBM)- will be visiting the U.S.A. from November 18-29, 1996. The purpose of his visit is to arrange faculty and student exchange programs with U.S. business schools.Dr. Ashyrkulov will be staying in Hershey, Pennsylvania as a guest of Dr. Erdener Kaynak. He is interested in visiting schools in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington D.C., New York, New Jersey, and Delaware areas.
The Bishkek International School of Management and Business (BISMB) was founded in October of 1992 by the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. The goal was to develop an institution to provide rigorous, high quality and relevant mana- gerial education and act as intellectual base for the country and the region. The mission of the School is to contribute to the international competitiveness of managers and organizations. In order to achieve its mission, the School is committed to offering superior educational programs for potential and practicing manag- ers at various stages of their careers, and to conduct at the highest level basic and applied research that will contribute to a better understanding of the management function.
