Dear Alan, I put a brief comment on the devel-l net yesterday re: Jubilee 2000. Before discussing your most recent (10/31/97 at 5:54pm) message re debt forgiveness, I thought I should ask whether you believe my summary of J2000 views was correct. I took them from various publications issued last year, but the organization's view could have changed since. I presume my message was distributed, though I never actually received a copy of it from the devel-l list itself.Once we get this settled maybe we can discuss some of the points in your latest message--that is, if the other readers of this list are willing to tolerate discussion of a subject that does not involve the application of technology to development.
