RuralTelecon97 takes to the web.

The first national conference on rural telecommunications has just finished in Aspen, Colorado. We have dealt with policy, social realities, large telco’s, small telcos, community organizations, and user needs, as well as politics. We have generated postings to its webcaucus site as each session is completed. conference attendees in Aspen are continuing posting their own comments and insights, and the on line conference will continue through November. The online conference is lively and using Caucus, which makes conversation across space and time easy to manage and delightful to participate in. All those not at the conference are invited to participate by registering through the conference's website at

http://ruraltelecon.org

and choosing On line Discussions on the Metanet.

or go direct to

http://www.tmn.com/ruraltelecon97-offsite-register

The conference will stay active on line till the end of November and the off site registration is $25 US.

Thanks!
