Please reply to Rebekah - I know nothing more about this than what
appears.

Does anyone need 600 Apple 11 GS computers????? I know I am not suppose to put anything on the list about selling anything but I feel someone might be able to use these computers. If they are not sold SOON then the school system are ging to destroy them by placing them under a bulldozer at the local landfill. I work part time as a computer technican for a public school system. They have 600 Apple 11GS plus image writer printers and system software that they are going to put in a landfill if they aren't sold really soon. As far as I know they all work. The machines were removed from the schools this summer to be replaced by new PCs. The only problem is ALL of the Apples have to be bought as an unit. I feel they would take just about any price just to get rid of them so they can have room to store other equipment. Plus whoever bought it would be responsible for paying to have them packed and shipped. (Who knows what that may cost!) BUT....I would hate to see these machines get pushed under in a landfill. I know several places that still sell Apple 11 software and the computers would be benificial to anyone who is just learning to use a computer. Personally I think they would let you have the computers for $600 but don't quote me on that. The best way to find out what they will accept is to submit a bid. If anyone is interested, contact me and I will send you the address to submit a bid to. My apologies to anyone that I might have offended by posting this. Please forgive me. Rebekah
