We on this continent are actually very good at making Africa work; in spite of American and European efforts to the contrary. On this topic, how would an American respond to an African meddling in American domestic policy? >>

"We on this continent?" You can be non-African, living in Africa and STILL telling Africans how to make Africa work - and that is something that is already getting out of hand.

Will what happened to the "native americans" (by colonialists and their descendants) in the United States, happen to Africans in Africa? Let's be careful about that "we on this continent " and not make a false distinction between the "we" europeans who continue colonial-type control of Africa from the outside and the "we" europeans who settled in Africa, with themselves and their descendants benefiting from the same domination.

"It is estimated that 80% of Zimbabwe's national resources and business operations are controlled by the white minority and by external interests, and that apart from State-owned enterprises, the role of black ownership in the economy is minimal. In this context, women (who constitute 51% of the population) find it difficult to penetrate the mainstream of the economy. "
