                          Findhorn College of International Education
Educating Tomorrow's Leaders For A Sustainable Future

Dear Folks,

I wanted to ask your help in letting students know about our new scholarship program for study in Scotland. The URL of our world wide web page is http://www.tiac.net/biz/fcie Findhorn College prepares students to be leaders in a world that will need to address difficult and fast changing environmental, cultural, social, and economic problems. Findhorn College's Global Village Studies Program, the only one of its kind in Great Britain, and one of the few in the world, integrates environmental studies, the principles and practices of sustainability, community building, leadership and group skills, and the psychology of personal growth. It emphasizes the interaction between psychology and the environment, between the inner and outer worlds, between people and the planet.

The experience and everyday life of the Findhorn Community, one of the world's largest and most successful intentional communities, forms the context for the program, complemented by innovative academic courses taught at Findhorn and in Edinburgh.

In addition to our regular financial aid program, we have scholarships of up to$1,000 available to students who make an initial application for the January 1996 Semester by October 30th. They should send a letter to the College at our U.S. address of Box 1393, Boston, MA 02117, or email to: college mailto:@ findhorn.org.

We would appreciate your help in reaching the students who can most benefit from Findhorn College ,s programs. You may have friends, family or colleagues who would be interested, or have access to bulletin boards, newsletters, publications, and other suitable places to announce the program.

We are also seeking a small number of Academic Advisors and Campus Representatives. If you, or someone you know, is interested in working actively with Findhorn College, we would be very grateful if you or they would contact us.

Additional information is available on our World Wide Web page at http://www.tiac.net/biz/fcie/ For a printed copy of the catalog, send your name, address and telephone number by email to mailto:college@findhorn.org.

Thanks very much for your help.
