The North Carolina Partners of the Americas announce
the availability of grants to qualified applicants through the
International Fellowship in Community Development
program.  The Fellowship program is funded by the W.K.
Kellogg Foundation.

The two and one half year program is aimed an expanding the group of emerging leaders throughout the western hemisphere and in North Carolina. It identifies community leaders who think globally and are willing to serve as a resource to their community, as a catalyst who encourages civic participation and as a coach to those willing to take a risk and make a difference. Through a series of seminars held across the hemisphere and civic actisivism back home, the Fellowship in Community Development provides participants with the opportunity to become that resource, catalyst and leader.

Criteria for qualified applicants: 1) at least 25 years of age; 2) demonstrated commitment to community service; 3) demonstrated leadership potential that can be enhanced; 4) a demonstrated interest in international affairs; 5) willingness to commit to participation at all seminars; 6) commitment to stay/become involved in North Carolina partnership activities; 7) agree to contribute with a participation fee; 8) have not previously participated in the Kellogg National Fellowship Program or Kellogg International Leadership program
