Dear Gary and friends:You have the choice. In fact you can start right now. Give it a try for a week. Hey, with all bad things of cars and computers, It is inevitable! They have more benefits than disadvantages. They need adjustments. However, we have freedom. We can travel anywhere you like and comunicate with anywhere we like -you know as much as I do as colleagues, as I perceive it from your signature, that computers have not made us really as productive as manufacturers are trying us think-.

---------- #From: Gary Berlind <mailto:gberlind@CRL.COM> The same is true of cars. They help me get around better, but they also pollute the air, require enormous megatechnological infrastructures to support them, increase the cost of living, kill zillions of people on the highways, result in burning up of natural resources at insane rates, lead to wars for scarce petroleum resources, etc. etc. etc. Bottom line for me is, if I had a choice, I'd have opted not to have had any of these wonderful conveniences of modern technology. They price we pay as a society is too damn high!!!!#
