I am trying to locate time-series data on share prices for privatised companies listed on African stock exchanges (especially for the Nigerian stock exchange). Does anyone know where I might find this data ?Sources I have tried include: IFC (they appear to distribute only aggregate and index figures for the exchanges); McGregors African stock exchange guide (WWW lists companies, details do not give shrare prices though their online database/CDROM might); Mbendi WWW (lists selected companies, but few details); The East African (full details for Nairobi exchange only); African Financing Review (commentary on exchange activity but no time series/comprehensive prices).
Sources I have been told about include DataWorld Share Power Plus (which I can't find any information on: any ideas?) and Reuters (presumably a subscription required?).
