This message may not be popular, but the truth seldom is.

If some part of us didn't serve a purpose, then it wouldn't have survived all of these generations. War is a product of the state of man, and it does have reason and purpose, if only to teach us to respect each other before War becomes a requirement.

We are human, and we have parts which are sometimes labeled good or bad, and it all depends on the viewpoint. There are numerous occasions where the rights of people have been abused until they took up arms and made it clear that they would no longer tolerate being treated in that fashion. I'm sorry that standing up for yourself is a requirement in this world. But it is. War is something that we have done, and it was required at the time, otherwise we wouldn't have done it. Trying to nominalize human behaviour with the simple "good" or "bad" tags is typically only done as a way to control behaviour, and it usually is used to further some political agenda.

If we are to understand what it is to be human, we have to accept all that we are, including the parts that some people would have us hide in shame.
