Ian:
You might want to consider subscribing and posting your questions to a
discussion group consisting mostly of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers. If
interested, to subscribe I believe you send the following message to
mailto:LISTSERV@CMUVM.CSV.CMICH.EDU: "subscribe PCORPS-L your first name your last
name". The listowner is Elliot Parker at Central Michigan University -
(517)774-3196; e-mail: mailto:elliot.parker@cmuvm.csv.cmich.edu
An honest discussion of Peace Corps' project impacts would ultimately need to
involve host-country participants as well.
Good luck! Matt

The question that I intented to pose for my paper is, Does the Peace
Corps truly benifit the people it intends to impact? This will be discussed
within the greather realm of, "is development (generally) 'good' or 'bad'"
and "what is 'good' development?"
My primary sources will be interviews with former Peace Corps
volunteers. What I am now attempting to generate is a list of questions
(actually criticisms) regarding the peace corps and current or past
development. If any of you have any stories, information, or questions I
would love to hear them.
A thousand thanks
Ian Hodur
