First there is the sensation of failure; then comes the learning. This is SOP in the education community; the interesting question is why the development community is so reluctant to accept it. Perhaps the fact that most 'developers' have not themselves first been 'developed' (in contrast to the universal education model) has something to do with it..

Imagine the reorientation of projects if they were to publicly announce, We're here to help you mess up - some very necessary _education_ would be required all around to carry it off.
