          My name is Nora Milchen and I work with Agricultural
          Cooperative Development International / Volunteers in
          Overseas Cooperative Assistance (ACDI/VOCA) as a recruiter
          in their Sacramento, CA office.  We currently have an
          opportunity in Uganda for a specialist in the solar drying
          of fruits and spices and I was wondering if you might be
          interested in it.


          ACDI/VOCA is an international development organization based
          in Washington DC that provides technical assistance to
          farmers and entreprenuers in developing countries and
          emerging democracies.


          We are currently looking for two volunteers to work in
          Uganda for six weeks or one volunteer for 12 weeks to assist
          Ugandan farmers to evaluate and improve their current solar
          drying technology and production.


          Although we do not pay a stipend or consulting fee, we pay
          100% of all expenses. This includes airfare, housing, meals
          and incidentals and all project related materials.
          Volunteers donate their time and expertise.
