Hello, I am once again searching for titles of text books, reports or referenc es that you might recommend that I get to help teach undergraduates about inter national development. Can you send me your favorite 2-4 suggestions? Thank yo u for any help in this regard...(ISBN numbers are helpful if you have them).... ........David Abedon, University of Rhode Island, USA

I have a clear top two (in order of preference) which I use for courses on "development economics for non-economists":

John Brohman "Popular Development"

Richard Pomfret "Diverse Paths of Economic Development"

A more specific, but wonderfully clear, book is:

Nigel Grimwade "International Trade Policy" (Pomfret's "International trade is also good, though now a little dated for an applied course, and more strongly oriented towards economists)
