I am forwarding this information on the World Bank's Young Professionals Program that Dennis McConnell very kindly posted.
Please note: Do NOT contact either Dennis or me about this program. We have absolutely nothing to do with it, other than passing the information on.

Young Professionals Program (YPP) - World Bank
While visiting the World Bank website today, I noted the announce- ment of the 1999 World Bank Young Professionals Program. Below I have presented the announcement posted to the list last year - but I have updated the information. List members who would like to read the complete announcement (8 pages) can visit:
http://www.worldbank.org/html/extdr/ypp/default.htm
At that site, interested list members can apply online,
Incidentally, if you have not visited the World Bank website Recently (http://www.worldbank.org/) perhaps it is time to do so again. The format has been substantially revised, and it is much easier to navigate. When you first visit the site, it would be useful to visit the Site Map first.
Another incidental: You will note the easy-to-read format of the announcement below. The announcement was created last year on my ancient WordStar word-processor. I have not yet found a way to create such a nice text format in MS Word that can be read by all of our list members. Please note that many list members are not using MS software, and cannot read .doc or .rtf or other file formats. And I cannot seem to create well-organized .txt files to post to CEEMAN-L. Any suggestions from our list members?
